Customizing Certificate Stamps
Difference Between Stamps and Embossers
You will often see the term "Notary seal" used interchangeably with stamp and embosser. Some states refer to seals as “stamps," while other states use “seal” to reference an embosser.
For Notaries, the official Notary seal stamp or seal embosser is their most-used tool. The Notary seal is the impression of the Notary Public inked certificate stamps or crimping embossers. It is used to authenticate the Notary’s signature and make the notarial act official. The imprint of the Notary seal contains the Notary Public’s commission information.
Attestation Stamps
An attestation stamp officially certifies the act of attending the execution of a document and bearing witness to its authenticity. It can also be the certification by an official custodian of records that a copy of an original document is a true copy that is demonstrated by his or her signature on a certificate.
